I have to really really pity Kyle Sui Yee Khai, for countless times of telling you students, especially the form 1 (girls), that this "Universality of Arts" is not bloody canceled.
"No lah, my friend say cancel."
Eh, do you rather believe in your stupid friend, than to believe the Public Affairs of our school's ExxonMobil Young Entrepreneur? I wouldn't do that. Ok loh, up to you. If you think it's canceled, then don't come. You'll miss the fun.
Speaking of fun, what fun there will be during "Universality of Arts" if outsiders cannot come? Yes, outsiders. Including your mum, dad, brother, sister, cousin, uncle, aunt, friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, your tuition teacher, your piano teacher, your former school mate, your football coach, your pastor, your boss, and so on.
Hmm.....I bet the teachers expect only Seri Mutiara students to come . Wow, I guess 500 chairs is a waste, I mean, most of our students think that this event suits them.
Guess what, the teachers worried until was 99% wanted to cancel the whole thing. Just because of this incident.
Chang Yew and gang went to Taman Connaught school's night. They went in, and they smoke. Yeah, of all 'smart' things that they wanna do, they smoke. Its so damn obvious that when your underage and smoking like a pro, you don't do that in public, especially in front of parents and teachers. Mind you that Seri Mutiara's 'nama baik' telah menjadi 'lagi buruk'. Get it?
Ok, after that, the ushers (Note: security of the school) asked them politely to leave. I guess that the one lone option for Chang Yew and his gang to do was to fight. Oh great, first you smoke, now you fight. Guys, you all are in the wrong, not the ushers.
Now this case was brought up to the school board, and they were very very worried about security during that night. Pn. Tan decided to buang Chang Yew and his gang. But Chang Yew had one favour in mind.....buang them right after the "Universality of Arts".
First thing Pn. Tan worried is that they might create trouble on that night. So she was even worried than ever. You think the EYE team also not worried ah?
Simple, I and Kyle talked to Pn. Tan about it. We said, even if Chang Yew's gang come, with formal attire and bought the tickets, we will still and strictly ban them, blacklist them and refund the tickets. But Pn. Tan still was a little stubborn. I'm sure some of you would tell Pn. Tan that I called her 'stubborn' in my blog. At least not like some of you all calling her a bitch.
Oh yeah, didn't I tell you about Mr. Chew? Oh boy, this is a story that must be told.
You see, the performers wanted to rehearse for their dance, songs and so one. Mostly is the dance. Mei Yee and gang went to the gym, with the keys. They went in, rehearsed, and then went out. Before that, they locked the door. Mei Yee, wanted to double check that the door was firmly locked. So she kicked the door, softly. Guess what? The door was pushed opened, locked. Conclusion, the door was spoiled.
Mr. Chew was nearby the gym, so he took a picture of the door slightly opened with his trustly little camera. I bet he's so damn happy to tell the teachers about it.
Mr. Chew went to see Cik Chan, confronted her. And mind you people, Cik Chan is a type of lady where when you bullshit in front of her, she'll screw you up to the max. In fact, Cik Chan did kinda screw Mr Chew for bullshitting in her face. So, Mr. Chew tak puas hati.
He went on to go see Encik Abdul Aziz. I guess the thing spreaded to our dear headmistress too. When Pn. Pengetua knew about it, we were so *beep*- ed.
No need to guess what had he said to the school boards. I bet it sounds like this.
"You see, pelajar tak bertanggungjawab. Tengok, pintu ini tidak ditutup dengan baik. Macam manalah jika ada perkara yang tidak baik berlaku?"
Oh yeah, ultra *beep*-ed to the max.
Didn't I tell you that they were 99.9% wanted to cancel it. Yeah, 0.95 is a lot.
So, they (school board) decided to have the "Universality of Arts" to go on. But with a few conditions. The conditions were:
1) Time changed to 5 p.m to 8:30 p.m.
2) No outsiders are allowed.
3) Postponed a week later.
Here's my thoughts....
1) 5 p.m to 8:30 p.m?! I would seriously wanted the event to be at 8 p.m to 10: 30 p.m. At least
got the night feel rite?
2) No outsiders allowed?! Even parents?! 99% of the student body totally disagree with it. With
no friends to invite, parents aren't able to see their children performing and be entertained?
How ridiculous is that?
3) Great, how am I suppose to tell my worship team leader? Again I have to tell them that I
can only play the piano a few weeks later?
On Tuesday that time, Kyle and I wanted to really shoot Mr Chew in the face. This is why we wanted to.
P.S : Who the heck suggested the name "Universality of Arts". Even I sometimes got it so mixed up. Heard that Amirul suggested it. I prefer that the event should remain be named as "Cultural Night", don't give a damn whether that sounds interesting or not. Short and simple will do.
