Updates : Dementia Shooting

Oh gosh, I've finally had the time to update my blog after so long. Last time I checked, the last post was about my first MacBook Pro that dad bought for me for my assignments and overseas studies.

So here's the thing, before the whole Indigenous Graduate Exhibition, every department was busy. The print, the outdoor, the video department. Basically just everyone.

And what a great time to fall sick though. I kinda had this swollen gum due to infection (that's according to what the doctor said) and I thought it was because of wisdom tooth, but the doc said otherwise. And then fever and what not decided to kick in. I remember Wednesday I came home after a long day in college finalizing the flyer designs.

Lied on the bed, shivering and the next thing I know I struggled to even stand on my feet and walk to the bathroom to bath.

I only had 2 days or resting, including one just to settle down and everything. And then its back to dealing with the flyers. I even had to bring my medicines to college. The antibiotics, the painkillers and the fever pills.

Yung Tyng and I went to college to finalize the flyer design and everything else, and sat through 3 hours to print 600 flyers. It was damn tiring.

I was involved in a short film for Banana Studios. Special mention to Jane for having me being part of the film. I've never driven to Klang before, and I never knew it'll be an almost one hour drive from my place. But the fun part was the long highway stretch to Glenmarie Cove.

Yeap.... and Kyle's involved too, with Siang Er playing the lead role. If any of you followed my Instagram, you'll know what roles Kyle and I be playing.

14th July, the party scenes.
MK just messing around with the Marilyn Monroe costume.

 Before the shoot.

So this scene is about this Halloween party at this fancy house, with around 30 guests as extras. The crew had a lil trouble getting 50 people, but 30 including some of their own was good enough, easier to control.

As usual, it was only after a few hours only shooting started. Everything was done around 3 a.m for Siang Er. So I decided to stay over instead, too damn tired to drive back and no one was able to fetch Siang Er back to her place.

Woke up the next day feeling quite tired. Maybe I slept too much, I woke up around 11 plus for breakfast, then back to sleep. And then slept again in the afternoon.

Glenmarie Cove was a good place to chill, if only you don't mind the mosquitoes and the fact that there's not much to do around the neighborhood. It was probably the first time in a long time that I didn't think much about my college final portfolio works, with the exhibition a week away.

This young girl, Zoe's relative plays the younger version of the main lead character. As much as she has the spoilt brat persona, can't help it that she's adorable tho ;)

 Ashraf as a butler

And getting his ass kicked in a pillow fight.

Special shoutout to Banana Studios. Zoe, Jane, Joelle, Yun Xuan, Immy, Zhou, Jason. Such a wonderful crew to work with. I have to admit, squeezing almost all of the scenes in 4 days to shoot is just something that's worth mentioning.

12: 30 a.m, Monday morning. A long way back to Cheras, but it was all worth it.
