Zoe's Birthday

 Oh gosh this is nasty...

Jane's birthday cake to Zoe. Troll faced rainbow cake.

No words to describe how crazy that night went. Until the pictures came in, tagged on my wall. Had loads of questions. I'll let y'all come to your own conclusions la. So sick of answering questions already, let you guys decide. Fuck it.

Indigenous : Setting Up

Jeremy had the balls to stick Lap Soon's promotional flyer on my MacBook Pro. Now this picture makes me look like some kid getting sponsored by them with a laptop. Free advertising, how bout that. Anyway, I should have went and did my printing at Lap Soon instead of Title Design at Damansara. Its cheaper and the quality's better.

"Why don't you use ALL of the cubes and triangular shapes to decorate your booth?"

Saturday evening, setting up my booth. Brought all of my previous printed out assignments from the past 5 semesters. Packaging design, my photobook, publication design and the A2 sized 3D works.

For my final portfolio, I'm doing character design.

And I swear this semester cost me close to RM 500 to spend on food, parking and printing my assignments.

The official shirt for Indigenous IACT College Graduate Showcase T-Shirt.

My parents was away for a reunion dinner at Teluk Intan, Perak. They left RM 200 for me to spend for Friday till Sunday. And I spent most of them on printing alone.

And there you have it, all the booths done setting up.

And to end this post, here's a picture of Penny taking a picture of me taking a picture of her.

Picture-ception :D

Updates : Dementia Shooting

Oh gosh, I've finally had the time to update my blog after so long. Last time I checked, the last post was about my first MacBook Pro that dad bought for me for my assignments and overseas studies.

So here's the thing, before the whole Indigenous Graduate Exhibition, every department was busy. The print, the outdoor, the video department. Basically just everyone.

And what a great time to fall sick though. I kinda had this swollen gum due to infection (that's according to what the doctor said) and I thought it was because of wisdom tooth, but the doc said otherwise. And then fever and what not decided to kick in. I remember Wednesday I came home after a long day in college finalizing the flyer designs.

Lied on the bed, shivering and the next thing I know I struggled to even stand on my feet and walk to the bathroom to bath.

I only had 2 days or resting, including one just to settle down and everything. And then its back to dealing with the flyers. I even had to bring my medicines to college. The antibiotics, the painkillers and the fever pills.

Yung Tyng and I went to college to finalize the flyer design and everything else, and sat through 3 hours to print 600 flyers. It was damn tiring.

I was involved in a short film for Banana Studios. Special mention to Jane for having me being part of the film. I've never driven to Klang before, and I never knew it'll be an almost one hour drive from my place. But the fun part was the long highway stretch to Glenmarie Cove.

Yeap.... and Kyle's involved too, with Siang Er playing the lead role. If any of you followed my Instagram, you'll know what roles Kyle and I be playing.

14th July, the party scenes.
MK just messing around with the Marilyn Monroe costume.

 Before the shoot.

So this scene is about this Halloween party at this fancy house, with around 30 guests as extras. The crew had a lil trouble getting 50 people, but 30 including some of their own was good enough, easier to control.

As usual, it was only after a few hours only shooting started. Everything was done around 3 a.m for Siang Er. So I decided to stay over instead, too damn tired to drive back and no one was able to fetch Siang Er back to her place.

Woke up the next day feeling quite tired. Maybe I slept too much, I woke up around 11 plus for breakfast, then back to sleep. And then slept again in the afternoon.

Glenmarie Cove was a good place to chill, if only you don't mind the mosquitoes and the fact that there's not much to do around the neighborhood. It was probably the first time in a long time that I didn't think much about my college final portfolio works, with the exhibition a week away.

This young girl, Zoe's relative plays the younger version of the main lead character. As much as she has the spoilt brat persona, can't help it that she's adorable tho ;)

 Ashraf as a butler

And getting his ass kicked in a pillow fight.

Special shoutout to Banana Studios. Zoe, Jane, Joelle, Yun Xuan, Immy, Zhou, Jason. Such a wonderful crew to work with. I have to admit, squeezing almost all of the scenes in 4 days to shoot is just something that's worth mentioning.

12: 30 a.m, Monday morning. A long way back to Cheras, but it was all worth it.

MacBook Pro

6 semesters without a laptop to do my assignment. And I finally own a MacBook Pro. Thanks dad, you have no idea how much this means to me a lot.

Thank God

first of all, I would like to thank God that I'm alive today.

I stayed back late in college today with a few of my friends for dinner and to catch up. Around 10 p.m we decided to leave since it was getting late. I decided to accompany my friend to her car since we both parked at the same basement floor at Jaya one. She drove ahead first.

Just a second before heading towards the cross junction, a driver made a last minute turn and almost crashed towards my friend on our lane. I was quite shocked and immediately stopped and went to check on my friend. She was so shaken that she didn't know what to do.

I wanna thank God that had I drove ahead first, I would have gotten into an accident, knowing my driving habits and what not. And had that stupid driver gone a lil faster, my friend would have been the victim. And praise God none of the scenarios happened.

Its amazing how timing plays an important role in our life and anything can happened to us no matter how safe we think we are. I'm still quite shaken due to the fact that I've been thinking so many 'what ifs'.

Its been awhile since I last prayed for a safe journey to wherever I intend to drive to and from. And I would like to start that habit from tomorrow onwards =)
