Ayam SAD!!

So.....my college kinda made me realized how screwed up my 5th semester is gonna be like. I have classes from 9 a.m to 12 p.m and then 3 p.m to 6 p.m on a Monday.

I frickin' hate Mondays now. Last sem, there were no classes on Mondays and I thank God for that. So fine, I'll deal with the fact that on the first day of the week I have to crawl my arse out of the bed and get prepared and everything and leave the house at 8 : 30 a.m the latest and get stuck in the morning jam.

Guess what? IACT decided to take away my Fridays. Zoom in to see my sad case.

MY GOSH WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THEM??!! My Fridays are meant to be UNTOUCHED. You don't rob my Fridays just like that. So my Digital Audio and Video tutorial classes are on a Friday. So basically on alternate weeks I have to go for classes.

But guess what? I thought it was gonna be a 9 a.m -12 p.m class. But NOOOOOOO!!!! Mofos decided 3 p.m to 6 p.m is THE BEST TIME.

I just hope next sem isn't as bad as it looks....on my timetable.

ART

For the past 3 months, I haven't been blogging a lot. There wasn't anything exciting compared to last year's January to March, not many pictures taken and also, its been a stressful 3 months.

For my final assignment for sculpture class, I had to do this ART 3D logo design. I kept on dragging it until like 2-3 days before the deadline then only I started working on it. I was busy with my typography calendar design for typography class.

4 p.m, started to measure and draw out the A's from 20x20 cm and minus 1 cm for the following A's.

By 7 p.m, I only managed to cut out 3 A's, 3 R's and 3 T's.

From 8 p.m-1 a.m, I have no idea how come it took me so long to do this project.

I'd be honest with you, I don't have enough patience to do anything that is 3d work. I get fed up, curse around the blades, the not-so-straight lines and the horrible cut outs of the board.

This is my most stressful assignment yet. It was close to 1 a.m, all I need to do it cut out the last letter T and I'm done, the next day all I have to do is just stick the double-sides tapes on them and the 3d logo is done.

The letter T HAD TO break when I was cutting the board.

So the next morning, decided to finish it off even though the deadline was the next day. I just wanna finish this off so ASAP so that I can concentrate on my calendar assignment.

I really hope to get an A for sculpture, even though I don't deserve it. But I'll be damn happy if I can score a B+ for this subject. This semester is the only semester that I have a good chance scoring A's for 2 of my subjects.

An Honest Mistake at The Bee

Attended IACT's PARTS Unplugged at The Bee Cafe, Jaya One. An Honest Mistake and For This Cycle was scheduled to perform that night. There wasn't much happening during that night, cuz all me and Santosh did was eat and chat and eat and take loads of blur pictures, but only 20 turned out good. Just good.

Santosh was supposed to take a picture of me, and this is how it turned out. =)

For This Cycle, all the way from Singapore, performed and had alot of applause for him.

Honestly lah, there wasn't really alot happened during last week. Its all the same for me, I wished something interesting will happen this week. Oh I hope its an adventurous one. And damn it my Nuffnang pay is still stuck below the RM 100 mark. Its RM 60 now, I guess I'll just wait till its RM 100 and I'll cash it out.

A Good Morning Present

Woke up quite late, and went to the kitchen to make my breakfast.........until I saw the college results on the dining table =D

*update later*

Yeah, the results was good for me, I mean. I was about to prepare for the worst, especially for my mass communication and advertising principles. Some bugger went to tell the whole class that Ms.Joanna failed most of the class and I thought I was about to resit for the paper.

Turns out I got a B for Advertising, and a C+ for Mass Communication. Trust me, if you know how my word count for the essay part for Mass Comm was, you'd thought I don't deserve a C+ at all. But somehow I think my assignments and presentation saved my ass =)

I actually thought my parents would be happy, especially dad since he's like paying for the fees and so. But once I got home today, its a whole different story.

Have you all feel like you wish you could have done better and right now, you're feeling all shitty inside and also what's worst, feeling U.S.E.L.E.S.S.

I know its bad to think of yourself this way, in fact whenever my friends tend to think of themselves as useless people, I would advise them not to do so. But right now, its my turn to know how they feel and thinking of myself as.......feeling U.S.E.L.E.S.S.

Parents are always never satisfied at your results, even though you worked your ass off for it. I have my ways and methods on studying. If I can Facebook, Youtube and screw around time online and only spending 1 hour just dead-memorizing notes and facts at the 11th hour, so be it. That's how I study.

But do I need to read a book in front of you, have a pile of text books as evidence of how hardworking I am to show you I'm studying?

I'm sick of following or trying other people's method on studying. It works on you but it doesn't work on me. Different people have different ways on studying for exams and test.

Maybe that's just the way I am huh =/

So Far So Good...

I got my Semester 1 results, and I was surprised to get good grades for 2 subjects I thought I was gonna resit next time, Advertising Principles and Mass Communication.

Nights of staying late and Facebooking have finally paid off!!! After weeks of anxiously waiting for the results...... I now can sleep peacefully.

And yesterday's photography class, lecturer asked us to bring a prop for shooting, I brought the 2 Lancers to college. Need to shoot 4 pictures and tell a story about it. I had no idea until I walked around Wendy's area.

Burnout.

Jared complained about my shoe being too complicated. Yesterday's drawing principles class at the studio, the lecturer found my shoes interesting and asked whether can use it as a prop to draw. Tak kan I say no right? =)

Jared and Levi complained my shoelaces was so hard to draw, they blame my shoe.

Nyahahahhahhaha.... had a great time during drawing class.

Syaf's prop was a pair of drumsticks. He decided to use Jeen Pei as his subject.

Wonder what happens if you twist those sticks around XD

Photography Class 3

Today's class was frickin' tiring and fun at the same time. Went to Taman Aman at Petaling Jaya for outdoor Principles of Drawing class. Had to sketch flowers and landscape with cross hatching and lines only with different types of pencils.

Had lunch at some coffee shop nearby. I'm broke, I'm supposed to eat Wendy's, I ended up eating Fried Kuey Tiaw.

From 12 p.m + to 2: 30 p.m was at the park, then after that went back to college to attend Photography class. Class postponed 45 minutes later.

I finally understand what's the use of aperture and shutter speed and ISO settings in the DSLR camera. Still a lil' bit blur but nevertheless at least I know the basics of it. I think photography class is the only class when you can take lots of pictures without worrying about the lecturer thinking it as a disturbance. Like every 5-10 seconds there will be a capture sound. Nuggets is Also Testicles XD

Honestly......college is awesome. Yes, it is slightly more relaxed than secondary school life (I'm saying this cuz I haven't dealt with assignments and projects yet)

But anyway, first day of college everyone will kinda need to adjust to the new environment, but it didn't took long to know more than a handful of new friends. Hey, just because I made new friends doesn't mean I had forgotten my secondary school friends :D Still marked in my p i n k y f r a g i l e h e a r t XD

First class was last week Thursday, Advertising Principles. To be honest, I nearly fell asleep, no its not that the subject is boring, just that if the lecturer speak louder then its ok. Today's class, Mass Communication was awesome.

And of course, if classes start at 12:30 p.m, I have to get out of the house by 11:20 a.m or earlier. Federal highway traffic jam can be a bitch to everyone.

Mr. Tan, sound old right? But you'll be surprised that he's actually quite young. LOL, like 25 above young. He makes the class so alive, like resurrecting us :D

He then conducted this experiment to show that communication by the word of mouth, information can be changed. He took a piece of paper, wrote a sentence, and then told the first student sitting on the front slow. The objective for each student is to whisper to the person sitting next to them and continue to the next person with the same method.

Guess what my friend, Jason told me.....

"Mobile Imput Video''

O.o?

So I then whispered that sentence to the person behind me, he was like....

O.O?

Then he whispered to the person sitting next to him.....

"Something something message"

O.O O.o??

Gosh........ then the last person, who sat in the left side front row, have to tell out to the whole class what was whispered to her. She then said....

"What what what message?"

Whole class burst into laughter, then Mr.Tan then revealed the original message.

"MANCHESTER UNITED PLAY LIKE SISSIES EVERYWEEK."

Learned alot today. Do you know that the word 'nuggets' is also another word for 'testicles'? Think again before eating a KFC nugget XD

Class ended at 3p.m, went 'yum cha' with my friends at Station One. Bought the text book for the advertising class, 688 pages and RM 80. Even the Bible is way lighter than the textbook.
