Is this good for a Mother's Day song?

"Angel" - Flipsyde

Now you've been up and you've been down
Stayed strong even though daddy wasn't around
My momma through the thick and the thin beginning to end
And though I be sinning you keep me livin' with that love that you givin'
It's unconditional hey the sun shines when I see a smile on ya face
My momma with the money and jewels the record and tours
I'd give it away if I could make your days happy days
And when my hearts broke and can't cope I'm comin' on home
To remember the reason why I was born
Cuddle up inside your heavenly arms you help me weather the storm
You love music so I put it in song

[Chorus]
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me

[Verse 2]
I wasn't born wild you know you raised me right
But the roads of Alabama called me into the night
From the coke and the weed and extacy
I'm lost in the streets but you still remain next to me
The blood that I bleed it flows through your veins
Even in my lowest point I can still hear your words to my brain
First time I was arrested mommas love was tested
I couldn't contest it so here's my confession you're my blessing
You're the reason I believe you're the reason I sing
You're the reason angels tangle me in heavenly things
It's been a long road so hard and cold
But you keepin' me warm with your heart of gold

[Chorus]
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me

[Verse 3]
You're the light at the end of the tunnel the break of the day
After the darkest night chasing all the evil away
You're my flowers and sunshine cherries and red wine
Diamonds they can't find shining through hard times
You're the angel on Earth the proof there's a God
The reason to keep on going you're my light in the dark
The first star in the sky and the last to leave
And when I'm travelin' through the night I feel your light on me

[Chorus]
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me
She's an Angel workin' on God's train
She's an Angel workin' on me

4th place good

All the hard work, the hours of practice, the weeks of training. Skipping classes, missing alot of homeworks, screwing up at the last minute. All these were paid of when the results were what we wanted.

4th place.

That's it, no more. Just wanna be in the top 5. Top 5 will be our passport to the finals next week.

I thought we'll miss out like last year, 6th placed. But this time, damn right we deserve to get 4th place.

Pahlawanku and Lion Sleeps Tonight, these 2 songs really showed how good we are. Ok, sound a little too cocky lah but trust me, these 2 songs bring the best out of the choir team.

Ok, we were supposed to be singing Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" chorus at the starting part, but due this plan being last minute suggested and we all don't wanna take the huge risk. But now we made it to the finals, with a week of preparations left, last chance to practice that song perfectly.

Today morning, 1 a.m, couldn't sleep at all. I mean, think of it, its your last year in school, the only prize you haven't get your hands on is the choir competition (screw the handball). Went to school dressed up in slacks and white shirt. Didn't bring any books today, cause I know we all will be practicing for hours and then spend the rest of the school session in the hall.

Went to the music room, practice the songs again. The dynamics were abit off, but managed to tune it back again. While the teacher is busy doing the last minute make up for the girls, Santosh, Samuel and me did our own redition of Mrs. Officer and More Than Words. Still think Extreme's version was way better than Frankie J's cover.

Yu Kin and Matthew.

Matthew and Santosh.

Matthew again...(handphone died afterwards, F Nokia)

Ok ok, can't wait for band practice. When can we start teacher? Diong is so excited of us performing Decode.

So a few minutes before going on stage, Santosh and I start practicing our introduction. We wanted to perfect our timing going out and up the stage.

Skip.....so when we're on stage, we were kinda nervous and feeling shitty at first, but like what Sam said, we had to give our very best. Starting part of the song was good, the going great....until the piano missed a key and Alto went a little fast. Luckily for our conductor Yi Vonn, she managed to get us back on track. Fuyoh, The Lion Sleeps Tonight was one of the many good songs that was performed today.

Then after singing, a loud applause for us. We then calmly walked one by one to the backstage, and rushed back to the hall to watch Convent Bukit Nanas's choir performance.

Guess what's their starting intro song? "Hot and Cold" by Katy Perry. That's it Santosh, we're doing "Dead and Gone" for the finals!!! Convent Bukit Nanas's choir team's dynamics were good, voice was well projected. The only missing part was the energy like they had last year. Their second song was "Man In The Mirror" by Michael Jackson.

So after watching the performance, me and Yu Kin went to the canteen and bought some drinks. The form ones were having their co-curiculum activities. Only 2, which is Scout and Kadet Remaja Sekolah. Kadet Remaja Sekolah's activities were so dull, we kinda pity them for a second, until we paid attention to the Scouts.

You Scouts are lucky to have such an active teacher like Pn. Nurul as your teacher. Yu Kin and I started to play the games that the Scouts were playing, and some of the form ones were looking at us, laughing at us. What a way to have fun. Then, Pn. Nurul and another Indian teacher then asked all of them to stand up and march. Santosh then came along and joined us marching.

The fun begins when Pn. Nurul was demostrating a cute dance. First you put both of your hands on your waist, then move left, front, back, right and so on. More like a ho-down. Out of the blue Mabel Goo joined us, so 4 seniors (Me, Santosh, Yu Kin and Mabel) stood at the back, and did the silly dance. We add in laughter to the Scouts.

The Indian teacher saw us, asked us why were we here. We told her we were bored and got nothing to do. She smiled and let us be. I'm still so confused over the dance step. I sense a YouTube sensation coming in.

26 school choir teams finished their performance, the results will later be announced. While Sam, Santosh and me were walking around at the assemby area, we heard a group of people screaming. It was none other than our choir group members. Matthew then ran to Santosh and hugged him. From a certain angle, it looks like Santosh and Matthew were engaging in a sex position. LOL.

It was news that we got 5th place. But Yi Vonn told us that's just rumours. Oh my gosh, imagine the embarassment lah, celebrate but in the end miss out Top 5?!

I was late for extra classes. Pn. Anita asked me what's the results, I told her I don't know yet. Then after the class, I saw Angeline. Madam Tee told Angeline and gang that we got 4th place.

YEEEEEEEHAAAWW!!!!!!

But it was a surprise that Convent Bukit Nanas was 2nd place.

Fuck, fucking pissed. Today supposed to start driving lesson, so dad went to the driving center with me at 5 p.m. So eager to learn how to drive a manual car, until the clerk picked up a phone call from my driving instructor saying that my lessons have to be postponed to next Monday.

Because the Kancil's air conditional system fucked up.

Spinning Jenny

GAAAARRRRGGHHH F(beep)!!! I'm frickin pissed at my Sejarah teacher and my Sejarah results. 64%, a damn mark away from scoring an A2.

All because of Spinning Jenny. Now kids, when you're form 4, in the later chapters of History, you'll learn about the inventions during the Industry Revolution (Revolusi Industri) in Malaysia. One of the many inventions is Spinning Jenny (see I so smart, can remember at least one invention of them all)

Now, read this question carefully.

Senaraikan 5 penciptaan baru semasa revolusi industri di Tanah Melayu.

I just read it before the exam started, and only one invention pop out in my mind. Spinning Jenny..........

So I wrote down Spinning Jenny, and left the remaining 4 answer spaces blank.

Fine, only can get 1 mark out of the maximum 5.

So on Friday, Cik Roseni was marking 5 Teknologi 2's Sejarah paper. When I went to her table, I begged her to mark mine first.

When she was marking the question about the inventions during the revolusi industri, she smiled. I told her Spinning Jenny was the only invention I can remember. So, I thought she'll just give 1 mark. Instead.......she gave half mark only.

I'm like...... O.O!!!! What the f(beep) wei!!! I asked her why, she say I never explain what is Spinning Jenny.

Question : Senaraikan 5 penciptaan baru semasa revolusi industri di Tanah Melayu.

It wasn't Senaraikan 5 penciptaan baru semasa revolusi industri di Tanah Melayu and jelaskan.

I was so emo on Friday, I didn't have the mood to do anything. Self esteem so low.

Was on Google searching for bodykits for the older version of the Toyota Vios, and bump into www.rexxstyling.com. I was blown away by the designs. My long search for the perfect bodykit for my dream car has ended.

Here is Rexxstyling.com's own design, pretty damn good. Its called the RX Vios.

RM 1399 for the whole set, how cheap is that?!!

And here's the TRD bodykit for the older version of the Toyota Vios, 2003-2007 model.

RM 650 for the whole set, another RM 220 if I want a TRD spoiler.

Arrrrgghhhh, itching for my own Toyota Vios. I'm tempted alright. Ok, gonna start saving for the bodykit. Can't decide which one to install to my Vios. HEEEELLPPP!!!

Rain dance, Jai Ho dance didn't work huh?

Weather was so hot, mum asked me to perform dances so that rain will come. So I did the rain dance (hip shaking, gyrating, swirling, jumping up and down uttering "rain rain oh lalala 5 times).

Didn't work, so I did that Jai Ho dance in Slumdog Millionaire. Not even a single drop of rain.

Hmm....remember that literature, "Looking for a Rain God". I wonder, do I need to sacrifice Mac in order for rain to come?

Hehe

Rain dance, Jai Ho dance didn't work huh?

Ugly Malaysians and my L Licence

Yes people, after a week of patiently waiting, I got my L licence. WHOOO can't wait to speed around in a Kancil with my driving instructor traumatized!!!!

Last week Saturday went to the workshop class in, the last of the process to get your L license. I had a bad, moody day at that time. Do you hate it when people cut your line, and then act like they don't know a single shit of what's going on? I experienced it last week.

After the driving instructor passed the forms to his students to go to the counter to register (including me), Edwin and I went to line up.

I was supposed to be at the behind Edwin, but 2 Indian dudes came along. One of them, like my age and the other taller and older than me, smiled at me, and then cut my line. Damn it, I was so frickin pissed. I could have gave a tap on his shoulder and asked him too shoo off, but I was kind enough. What makes me even pissed is that his other friend did the same thing and stood next to him.

Fuck.

I was so pissed, I wanted to bomb them on the spot. So when I was behind those bastards, I then uttered softly....

"Your mum never teach you to not cut people's line while lining up ah?"

So after the tall dude signed up, he walked off. As he walked off, I never give second thoughts and look at him and said this...

"Bugger, next time don't cut line lah. Mother never teach ah?"

He walked off.

10 a.m the class was supposed to start, 6 hrs until 5 p.m. What a coincidence, that tall Indian dude in my class.

Like 2 "Ugly Malaysians" issn't enough, sitting behind me and Edwin were 2 Chinese teens. Instead of respecting the lecturer by keeping quiet, one of them turned on their handphone's music player and played Chinese songs. It distracted the people sitting next to them. The whole class was quiet except them. You can hear what they were talking clearly. Watching videos, giggling and so on.

At one point, I wished I took that N95 and throw it right outside of the class.

Instead of 3 hours in class, we spent just 2 hours in there, listening to the lecturer giving us tips on how to pass the driving test. Then, 2 recess breaks. Wow, I think I love this class. Then, 2nd part of the class is conducted outside. I thought 3 hours to learn about the inside of the car, but it only took 40 minutes. So instead of going back at 5 p.m, ended up going back at 4 p.m. Driving instructor told me and Edwin that the L licence will take 4 to 5 days.

Can't wait for Tuesday, gonna learn how to drive manual car!!!

Tadika Mayter Sports Day, Pantas dan Garang 4

Sorry for the delay, was busy with preparations for my intervention exams. 20th till 29th. Oh yeah, so like every year, I would be helping Hui Xian for Tadika Mayter's sports day. For the last 2 years it was a blast, but this year is kinda boring.

I thought we'll be wearing the same white polo Tadika Mayter shirt on it. But since Tadika Mayter is celebrating 30 years of fun learning, officials will be wearing a black tee shirt with a dinosaur at the back with a big 3-0 printed on it.

Tumpang Hui Xian's ride to the Cheras badminton stadium. This year would have to have fun without Hao Yang but with Shu Teng, Wan Zhuin, Xiao C, Hua Xiang and Junh Xiang, its gonna be a hell of a ride!!!

Reached there early, got nothing to do.

Hmmm....reminds me of a typical fan turnout for a Malaysian football league game.

Kids!!!

Over here you'll have the Red's supporters...

Chelsea fans slowly filling the stadium....

And what da ya know.....Saudi Arabia had the most fans filling the stadium.

Was supposed to see this senior official member for duties to do, but we ended up wandering around and doing nothing. Until finally someone gave us something to do, which is packing goodie bags for the parents to redeem. Kodomo Lion toothpaste, I want weei!!!

Then, after singing the national anthem (again everyear), first event was an Olympic-inspired (more like a carbon copy) of the 'torch light' relay.

Then, in conjuction celebrating 30 years of Tadika Mayter, each Tadika Mayter kindergarden kids danced to different eras of music. One of them represented the 80's, which is Michael Jackson's era with the song 'Beat It'.

Then, all joined hands to sing Tadika Mayter's anthem.

Then, sports day begins. Each Tadika Mayter kindergarden from different parts of Cheras represented a colour. Taman Connaught's colour is yellow.

Another sing along and dance number came in, its called the bean bag song.

After that, games begin.

Heh, the t-shirt we wore.

I was stationed at the Yellow House, have to take care of the kids. Oh boy, they're such angels to look after. I took a few pictures of them....

Kiddo sedang emo.

Kiddo #2 giving me the =.= look.

Hui Ying and Wan Zhuin.

Oh yeah, I love this picture.

I'm surrounded by kids......awwwhhhh!!

Well, the fun didn't last long until they relocated me to one of the exits, and like last year, to take care of the unclaimed kids. DO'H!!!!

So for an hour, all I did was stare at kids, see them cry, mumble.

Skip to the last part of that day, the lucky draw. Every year sure kena wan!!! This time, my prize was heavier than last year's. Was surprised that Shu Teng in her first year of helping out, she got one of the hampers. I was like so WTF!!

Then there's group photo.

Me and Wan Zhuin.

Sorry Shu Teng, I had to ruin your picture.

We all then went to Leisure Mall to catch a movie. Yeah, even though at that time my moral project wasn't finished. Over here is Wan Zhuin's RM 40 Tadika Mayter Officials Event 2nd place trophy.

We all thought of watching Mall Cop, but we were late. So, decided to watch The Fast and Furious 4. Yeah 18PL, so they asked me to get the tickets. After giving me RM 10 each, I without thinking twice went to the counter and purchased the tickets. Ok, one problem solved, another one popped out.

Tell me, does Hui Xian and Wan Zhuin look 18 to you all? That's what I was thinking. I mean, if the cinema attendant saw 2 small size girls going to a 18 and above movie, something is so totally wrong.

3 p.m the movie start, we went to line up to go in. I gave the 7 tickets to the cinema attendant to tear off. He looked at us, he then smiled. We're in!!!!

I nearly laughed our loud when the person who is in charge of putting subtitles in the movie, literally translate The Fast and Furious 4 to Pantas dan Garang 4.

This time The Fast and Furious is alot better than 2 Fast 2 Furious and The Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Love the stunts and races. Makes me wanna do a wheelie on my parents Honda!!!

Overall, a good day, full of fun

Moral project

Today skipped school, yeah, pengawas pun ponteng ah? Wei, I skipped school for good so that I have time to finish the damn moral project ok?

Was supposed to be at Kyle's place by 10 a.m, but last minute his parents ask him to go to school. I was like so darn pissed wei, not at Kyle by the way. Fine, was at home doing some revision, played the piano. Oh yeah, Flo Rida's second single, "Sugar" featuring Wynter Gordon, uses the smash hit "Blue" music sample.

So dad went to TAR College and sign in, left me alone at home. Sigh, had to wait for Kyle to come back from school then only can go. Mum went back to Malacca again, last Sunday I just went back to visit her. Nah, she's doing well, still ok. Thanks for the caring messages you people sent in.

So 2p.m, dad fecthed me to Kyle's place.

So here's some pics.....

Me rajin

Kyle rajin

Used Kyle's laptop to handwrite copy his cousin's moral project.

And at the same time, Facebook and Windows Live Chat.

Hehe...

Then, Kyle's desktop is used for music. Gotta love listening to Sugar loud,

Our so-called lunch.

Since both of us were hungry, Kyle called McD's for lunch. McShaker Fries no more already, so we ordered ala carte.

Food.

Yeah, outside look Fillet O Fish....

But inside....McChicken.

So we put our multitasking skills to good use. Membuat kerja sambil menikmati makanan McDonald's.

Me, McChicken and moral project.

Kyle was so blur, he ate the pen, used the Fillet O Fish as a pen.

Ok, back to normal.

I tell ya, moral folio is the final project you'll be doing in your senior year. Yes, the final project. Luckily, form 5 tak da History project, that one really gives you hell.

Moral project was so tiring, I fell asleep at one point.

Yes, from this angle, it looks like I am busy writing...

Until Kyle took a snapshot of me, sleeping.

Oh C'mon, Kyle was worst.

The work.

Me

Ok, halfway doing the project, Kyle and I decided to do a Left 4 Dead video, since he has The Witch's crying tone. Will upload soon once edited.

The room.

Then, we still have pictures to take for lampiran for the folio, for proof that we did the moral project without cheating.

So the pics were taken by Kyle's Olympus camera.

Pics will be uploaded soon.
