Chocolate chip muffin with chocolate mint and a can of Carlsberg beer on Christmas night. Just trying to go through a tough day. Mum and dad are now staying over at Teluk Intan, dad missed his hometown so much. The last time we visited that place was Chinese New Year this year.
The reason why he left......is because God loves him.
God wants him to know more about Him.
God wants him to know how much He cares about him.
God wants him to know that no matter how much he has screwed up, He still fixes him up in mysterious ways
God took him away, so that he could use him to teach us all a valuable lesson that, life should not be taken for granted.
That life......should not be wasted away with all the temptations, distractions, and all sorts.
That we should all cherish each other, no matter how much they can be a pain in the ass for you to handle or to even bother.
Then I guess that's how God wants to tell us, that its life.

Rest In Peace Vickyneshvaran Jezs (1992-2010)

I just got back from General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. A dear friend of mine passed away this morning during the late hours after midnight in a road accident nearby the GHKL. He was riding a motorcycle, lost control, hit a car, flew from the bike, had his neck cut by a divider, died on the spot. Peter called me this morning around 6:11 a.m, I just got the biggest shock for Christmas this year.

I text messaged Kyle, telling him Vicky died. The only picture I had with him was during last year's handball inter school competition. I only see him during the weekends for futsal every Sunday at The Challenger. He was probably the one that inspired and motivated me to become a better goalkeeper and a better player. I'm just gonna miss playing with and against him.

2 years ago, we all with Vicky would head down to Aladdin internet cafe to play games, go to the nearby mamak stall after school to have lunch and chill out. I remember he drove his Ford Lynx, with a Mazda engine fitted in to school, how he liked to rev the engine. And everytime during futsal after scoring a goal Kyle and him will be like, 'What happened la?" in a cheeky way to taunt our opponents.

Vicky, if only you didn't mix with the wrong friends.....

Christmas Party

Its been 2 years since I last had a Christmas party with my former school friends. The last one was fun, check back the December 2008 archives. The usual gang, Ian, Sam, Hui Xian, Carmen, Kyle, Yu Kin, Hui Xian, Shu Teng made it. Adam, Melissa, Kerry, Evon didn't =/ No worries, we got some new members to our gang =D

Basically everyone who is attending the party have to wear red, Carmen didn't know that cause she hasn't been using the computer for decades to log into her Facebook, instead now she uses Facebook Mobile. Yu Kin.....that bugger decides to wear purple to piss me off.

Its been months since I last saw Carmen....I think she's fat already XD

I only had a few pictures taken with my DSLR, cause I kinda forgot how to use it after months not touching it. And I accidentally spilled water on it so yeah, just 9 good not-so-blur pictures. The rest is all taken by Hui Xian with her camera, will upload some over here =)

Siang Er and Ian. Ian has been bugging me to buy beer, tani for the past 2 weeks. Wanted Heineken but its slightly expensive than Carlsberg. Bought 2 6-packs at Giant, its cheaper than Tesco. Kyle brought the Wii again, Siang Er brought her own Wii-mote and the Raymans Raving Rabbids game.

Sam and Xian.

Kar Hou and Yu Kin. Oh Imma bout to rip Yu Kin for wearing purple.

Mrs Ian.

Diong's gonna leave for Singapore the next day, she went nuts right before we started to drink. Mad women.

This is too red.

Hui Xian and WanChuen was having fun trying out the DSLR. A few pictures of me with short people.
Diong and me.

Hui Xian and me.

Me and Mangkuk WanChuen.

Back From Youth Camp

Yesterday got back from Charis Church Cheras Youth Camp. It was awesome. Had loads of fun, and also had the opportunity to be closer to God again. You wouldn't know how much God can change one's life in just 4 days, what more for the rest of your life.

The camp was good, the rooms, the food, the guest speaker Rev. Clement Wong, the games, the praise and worship session. We have our own camp shirt which was a red jersey with Youth Force and a number 7 imprinted on the back of the shirt. And we even have our own camp song, which was wonderful too =)

The telematch games was fun. One of them, my group and I had to finish a plate of biscuits with onions, tobasco sauce, chili flakes, mustard, all sorts. It was after lunch, and I had to try not to think about the taste and try not to think about vomiting whenever I burp.

I definitely learned a lot from the camp, and I'm glad I attended this youth camp. I'll post up some pictures from Facebook to share with you guys.

Mac's Leaving Soon...

Today late in the afternoon, mum sent me a SMS saying my pet hamster, Mac is one eye blinded. I had to call her to check whether is it for real or not. I was this close at breaking down in the office lounge.

This is Mac back in January, ain’t she adorable =’) I regretted not spending enough time with her for the past 2 weeks cause I was caught up with work and was too tired to even mess around with her.

And only tonight, was the first time in many months, I’ve rushed back from work just to see Mac again. And it hurts to see such a small, innocent pet, struggling to eat or move around with one eye to see. Just by watching her like that, broke my heart.

I just don’t know what to do once she leaves me….

Drivers Like You Should Walk

Darn inconsiderate drivers. Don’t fuckin’ park your car when you know your big-ass SUV’s gonna occupy the whole lane.

When the right lane cars gave way for me to go ahead of them cuz of that SUV, the owner of the SUV walked out of a bank. No offense, but damn he needs to walk to the bank instead of driving. He could use some exercise.

Without thinking twice, I actually rolled down my windows and went…

“NEXT TIME PARK YOUR CAR PROPERLY, DAMN IT!!!”

I could have just yelled…

“YOU NEED TO WALK NEXT TIME!!!”

14th floor yo!!!

Before I sleep.....

I'D BE HONEST WITH YOU, THE WHOLE ALVISS KONG BULLSHIT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!

If you wanna prove that your girlfriend breaking up with you is her shittiest decision yet, find a better one yo!!!

How long have you been with her? A year?

Your friends would have been in panic mode and rushing to find where the heck are you, instead of commenting on your last and final Facebook status update. Good friends yo!!

And you people pitying him for being the victim of broken love and whatever lala/Cina-fied culture y'all having on, the real victims are the parents. All the years bringing this fella up, he decides to repay them by jumping off the 14th floor. Yo, good investment return bro!!!

And I swear if this phucker decides to haunt me cause I insulted him via my blog, BRING THE FUCK ON!! LOL!!! If you fail to scare the shit out of me, I'm sorry, my house only double-story, not more than 14 floors. You need to go back to Ketumbar Heights yo!!!

Yeah, I did 'liked' one page about him, cuz that page says in Chinese

"Alviss Kong, was it worth it? Why are you so stupid?"

I have to agree that statement, but damn right I can't believe some people actually bother saying "have a great life ahead", "angels will greet you in heaven", "see you next time", yadayadayadayada.

For all I know, taking your own life automatically booked a place in hell. Whoever has a problem with me not respecting him even after his death, talk to me. I won't respect people like him being a coward not to face reality and move on like everyone did.

You idiot, people in Africa are starving and living below the poverty line with no food and water, what do they do? they MOVE ON!!
Someone is tested HIV positive. Guess what, they MOVE ON!!
A child is born without a leg or an arm, deaf, mute, handicap. They MOVE ON AND LIVE LIFE!!
You sir, fail hard!!! And damn it if you wanna commit suicide, make sure you have a clean landing. The heck you need to land on people's car, pity the car owner. How is he gonna go to work?!

And if you see any of your friends bitch about being very very the depressing over a break up after a month's or even shorter relationship, all you can say is....

"TURN LEFT ON THE 14TH FLOOR YO!!"

With all that rant, I just wanna thank Alviss Kong. Because of you, Lowyat kopitiam forums have alot to joke about your death. Thank you =) And yes, I have no regrets posting this because its my blog, I rant/post about whatever that's on my mind and YOU can't do anything about it.

Final Week

Tomorrow will be the start of the last week of internship for me. I don't know whether to feel happy or sad.

HAPPY
...that the fact that I won't need to wake up at 8 a.m in the morning again. And won't need to calculate the time taken to be stuck in the ridiculous slow traffic from Jalan Cheras to Jalan Kuching to Wisma TCL at Jalan Ipoh.

...that I no need to worry about deadlines and such, no need to deal with the bloody pariah that collects RM 4 for my parking and acts like a c*nt to me. Seriously, "hello boss", "morning boss", "thank you boss", I know it sounds nice but it gets frickin' irritating to me. Heck, I miss the Jaya One valet parking worker. At least the latter isn't trying to kiss your ass every morning.

Happy that I no need to worry about how much I'm gonna spend for lunch, how much will there be left in my wallet at the end of the day. What should I eat? Would I be full later on? What if I'm hungry again?

...that I no longer need to come back home, with my clothes smell like as if I sit 9 hours a day, in a building filled with cigarette smokes.

...that I no longer need to deal with the bloody Mandarin/Cantonese local radio stations that repeats the same songs for the past 1 month while working. All because of one co-worker that needs to have the radio turned on in order to do her work.

...that no longer I will need to rush out of the office to my car under a minute just to spare me a few minutes getting stuck in the jam. And also...........f**k the ridiculous jam from Jalan Ipoh to Jalan Cheras to my place.

But I'll MISS

...using the Mac. I don't wanna go back to PC shortcut keys already. Mac computers always for the win.

...my co-workers, my mentors throughout the 4 weeks working with them. The new shortcut keys I've learned, how ad agencies really works, how an ad is done. What to do, what not to do.

...those crude jokes that got me crackin' up during lunch hours. The fact that boss and his workers can tease/joke each other in a crude way and still laugh about it.

...the good food.

...boss telling you "Good" after all the hard work, and knowing that your design might be selected to be used by a company. I can't wait to see the Poh Kong window sticker that me and the senior art director had been working on for a week plus =)

...the over-time hours. Seriously, it was so awesome, so in a rush, that panic moment while trying to finish a project a day before presenting to the client.

Come Friday, my last day. Company's throwing a Christmas party in the office, and then diner at Pavilion. OH YEAAHH!!!

Another night....

"I'm CEO, bitch!!"

I watched The Social Network today, surprisingly its a good movie, 4/5 stars. They kinda portrayed Mark Zuckerberg as an asshole. Well, yeah he is still an asshole for changing the Facebook layout for the 9263192836190263192389th time.

Now friends can view what you typed on your friends status instead of the “XXXX has posted/commented on XXXX’s wall/status”

Privacy my ass, Zuckerberg

Over Time

Yesterday was hectic. It was the 2nd time I had to work overtime on a Tuesday. First week Tuesday I’ve worked overtime by accident, this time was not. Was rushing for a story board, and thank God the copywriter was next to me when I was resizing the pictures, the WRONG WAY. I didn’t know that you can crop pictures in Adobe Illustrator, seriously.

My boss called the night before yesterday, telling me that I’ll be going home late and instead of going to work at 10 a.m, it’ll be 11:30 a.m. I thought it would be like 10 p.m late, I did not expect to leave the office by 1 a.m plus.

After the story board is checked and submitted to my boss, I was already feeling soo sleepy, not in the right state of mind to drive back home. Next thing I know I was going 120 km/h all the way back home, had to have my playlist blasted out loud to keep me awake.

Oh well, at least my boss gave me a day’s off today =)

Glow In The Dark

Glow in the dark ear tunnels. OH ME LIKEY =D I've been waiting for them to be available WHOOOOOOO!!

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Last night, I dreamed of unicorns, vomiting out triple rainbows. It was so epic XD
2 MORE WEEKS, AND I GET MY PAY =DDDDDD

Oh gosh, tomorrow is a public holiday but I have to go to work for this story board I'm working on for some real estate company. At least my boss gave me Wednesday a day off =D

As I look at the amount of post for November and December, surprisingly compared to last year, ain't much happening during the holidays =/ I wished mine was as happening as you guys. Just now Jit Chern and I were drinking wine and chillin, the feeling was awesome. Wine and snacks, perfect combination.

Miami 2 Ibiza

Currently blasting out Swedish House Mafia x Tiny Tempah's "Miami 2 Ibiza". I swore that's like the best song to blast out loud on a Friday night since......woah, I don't know!!

I googled Ibiza, and what I got is just girls, party, alcohol, nightlife. WOAAHH!!

2 More Weeks to Go

I’m done with my 2nd week of internship, 2 more weeks to go before I get my ridiculously ‘high’ paycheck =D

Every week I look forward to Friday, cuz the next 2 days I can just chill, relax and don’t give a damn about work. Well, when I was about to leave the office, one of my colleague told me RON 95 petrol price up by 5 cents. So its RM 1.85 to RM 1.90 =/ Yeah, that kinda ruined my what supposed to be a good Friday night.

England didn’t get to host the future World Cup, FIFA gave it to Russia and Qatar instead. Damn it, England had all the facilities prepared and are on standby mode. Russia and Qatar? The heck was FIFA thinking?! The Russian Prime Minister didn’t even bother attending the ceremony, so much for respect. Oh well, that’s life.

Fatkachu

Pikachu gained alot of weight, don't cha think so? =/

Total Bullshit

I don't even have time to blog, all because of internship. Heck, today Sunday morning, watching the Manchested United - Blackburn game was the first time I get to watch TV since last Sunday. LOL, thank God, United ripped Blackburn apart with a 7-1 scoreline. Wished they could have kept a clean sheet.

I sleep at 11 p.m , wake up by 8 :30 a.m. Have my breakfast and bath, get out of the house by 9:15 a.m or 9: 30 a.m. Get stuck in a slow traffic jam and reach at Wisma TCL, Jalan Ipoh by 10 a.m.

And from 10 a.m, I'll work till 7 p.m, leave 15 minutes later, stuck in a horrible jam again. Reach home at 8 :30 p.m, have my dinner, bath and then sleep at 11 again. I'll be to tired to go online. And until December 31st, I'll go through the same shit until I'm done. I should have just told them I'm gonna work till 23rd or a day earlier.

All the work, just for RM 200. Sometimes I thought to myself......why the fuck would I go through all the bullshit for RM 200?! I had my haircut yesterday, and the aunty told me her daughter is working for YES company, the new 4G Mobile network company, for 5-7 days, RM 150 a day just to give out vouchers outside Lot 10 at Bukit Bintang area. Shit, she earns more than what I earn in 2 days.

I don't know why I decided to go with my parents' advice. "Go for internship, gain experience." The fuck I wanna spend more than I gain?! I can forget about changing my ride's sport rims by year end, with my savings all together its only RM 400.

I think, this is THE last time I'm really gonna listen to my parents' holiday advice. Friday I screwed up my work, now I'm waiting to be screwed by my boss on Monday morning. Honestly, I do wish I get fired from this job.

This is what has been keeping me occupied since Tuesday. Right after handing up my photobook, I rushed home, feeling excited and installed Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. And RM 120 well spent =)

I'm starting internship on Monday. I'm still nervous, have to remember back all of the shortcuts on Apple keyboard. LOL, my allowance throughout this internship program is not enough to cover my expenses on petrol, food and others. Yeah, alot of my friends asking me why I'm starting internship way to early (usually internship starts during your final sem or after your final sem in college, I just finished my 2nd semester)

I could have gotten a part time job at Leisure Mall, with a better payment than what I'll get in internship.

Invading Seremban

On November 2nd, Kyle, his bro and I invaded Seremban. I was down with flu and cough, wasn't feeling well to drive for a week. So Kyle drove us to Seremban for food trip.

The clouds were awesome =)

Reached Seremban at 11:37 a.m, went to Haji Shariff Cendol at Jalan Yam Tuan, the only green building to have cendol and rojak. Yes, I was down with cough and flu but I couldn't resist desserts like cendol.

I didn't really like the mee rojak. The gravy was kinda spicy, preferred the one served by the roadside outside Leisure Mall, Taman Mutiara Barat.

Haji Shariff has this cendol special mix, with extra corns and rice. What's nice about their cendol is that there wasn't a hint of colouring or any flavouring added. All natural =)

After cendol we went to this hakka noodles stall. It wasn't opened. Then we went to my uncle's BBQ restaurant to have lunch.

Be thankful KL traffic is not like this ALL THE TIME.

Went back to the hakka noodles stall again after lunch. Took them around half an hour to get our orders done.

And finally head back to KL.

Hot Pursuit

Tomorrow, after internship interview. After handing up my photobook and 2 DVDs. After getting stuck in traffic jam for 45 minutes or so. After dinner, I'm gonna play you.

I waited 10 years for EA to come out with a better Hot Pursuit. Criterion games never disappoint fans. This better be worth RM120!!

Broke Again

I am officially broke for this month. I just received a call from the Photo & Print shop, telling me that the photobook I had ordered and requested to print my assignment pictures is altogether RM 120+.

I thought it was only RM 60. Seriously, morning calls had never been this GOOD. And for my internship interview, I had to postponed to tomorrow cuz parents still at the health check up center. Mum don't want me to drive all the way to Jalan Ipoh cause its quite a distance and the traffic over there is always packed. I was really looking forward to going for the interview.

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit will be in stores tomorrow, and I have yet to pay for my preorder. The preorder is already RM 119, and add on RM 120 for photobook.....

GAAARRRGGHHHH!!!!!

This is for you Jane XD
Ron Weasley: How much are these?

Fred Weasley, George Weasley: 5 galleons.

Ron Weasley: How much for me?

Fred Weasley, George Weasley: 5 galleons.

Ron Weasley: I'm your brother!

Fred Weasley, George Weasley: 10 galleons.

Oh yeah Harry Potter's up next week. I think Luna is adorable. She's such a sweet girl =)

Miss Me?

Ok here's what I've been up to lately.

1) I'm done with exams. So my holidays started last week till January 11th =) You mad?

2) I've been waiting until my last paper, Moral Studies just to go to Kyle's place and try out the demo for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on the PS3. But all hopes and excitement was gone when the demo TIMED OUT. I was like, 'which video company would wanna pull that shit off? A demo with a limited time to download before it ends, well that makes sense. But a demo with a limited time to play, the heck?!"

3) Related to number 2, I've decided to preorder the limited edition of Hot Pursuit. Its my first original PC game. I got sick of cracking games and installing patches and shit.

4) I'm gonna spend on my assignments again. My last assignment to hand up is the Photo Portfolio. I don't know how much a photobook is gonna cost me, but I as long as I get to keep it, its fine.

5) Today I went to Leisure Mall to look for a part time job. Was trying my luck on Memory Lane, their vacancy notice didn't state that they're gonna employ female workers only. Then went to some sports shop downstairs, they have vacancy, but its at the bigger shops at KL like KLCC, Mid Valley. Shit weih don't wanna travel on federal highway for the next 2 months.

6) Related to number 4, I was worried that I don't have enough good pictures for my photobook. Now, I have 60 pictures to choose and edit nicely before its in the photobook. Fotorex in Jaya One is charging RM 200 for a photobook. Bitches are crazy XD

7) Ok, I might go for internship for a company that is related to the field I'm gonna be in the next few years. Yeah, photostat papers, make coffee, do office errands. Part of internship life.

8) The college just sent a notice saying that our course duration is stretched to 7 sememsters. 7 weeks is short semester, 11 weeks is long semester. Urrggghh

9) I miss you alot =)

10) Tell me what have you been up to.

Uniqlo

On Thursday, Uniqlo opened its first Malaysian flagship store in Fahrenheit 88, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Since its only until next week I'm gonna sit for Moral studies, decided to be one of the 500+ people waiting in line for the opening ceremony. Kyle and I planned to head out by 9 a.m and reach there 30-35 minutes the latest to get in line.

But everything didn't go according to plan. 9: 30 a.m only went out of the house. Went to a friend's house to print the vouchers cuz both our printers cocked up. Wasted time cuz my friend's printer was being a bitch. 10:30 a.m only got all things done and by 11:15 a.m we found ourselves having to wait 4 hours until our turn to get into the store.

I was wearing the Kikstyo tee I bought like a month ago, and people around me was staring at the model, Aya Kiguchi on it.

This is just 10% of the line for Uniqlo

Kyle and his bro.

Yee Jian ( Kyle's bro) and me. That bugger's gonna be taller than me soon =S

After hours and 3 episodes of High School of the Dead....woolaaa!! We're just outside the store. I can smell Uniqlo from here.

Pavilion's apartment is like, RM 1.8+ mil per unit.

The second we stepped into the store, it was pure chaos. One staff was like entertaining 3-5 customers per minute. And Uniqlo Malaysia has 3 floors. Ground floor is a mix of men and women's clothes, first floor is for women, and the 2nd floor is for men.

Went up to the men's department, rushed straight to the jeans section. Took the slim cut jeans to try on, and again I find myself lining up for the fitting room. The slim jeans didn't look good on me, so I went back to the jeans section, took the skinny jeans and wait in line again for the fitting room.

Until 4 :30 p.m, we're done. Spent enough to get the tote bag too. Overall I think the price for Uniqlo products is considered cheap and affordable.

Answering Questions #1

JEEN PEI!: HELLO HI I WASN'T THE ONE WHO SWICTHED THE AIRCON BACK ON KAYYY! It was joey.. T_T

Lol I don't care, I was shivering ok. I was this close to wanting to sleep in the alcohol-invaded toilet.

joelle: if that picture is going to be in your photobook, pls crop off the bottom half of my face tqvery much! haha

I might wanna resize it and make it larger =D

Seafood!!!

That night I had a bad sleep. Sleeping on the floor, no mattress, only pillow for your head to rest and I have to share my blanket with Jared.

I thought it was raining when i woke up in the middle of the night. Turns out it was the wind and the sea making noise. Went to the bathroom, the whole bathroom smell like beer, Carlsberg all over. And urrgh, felt like vomiting.

I turned off the aircond. Jeen Pei switched it back on again. Then I woke up to adjust the temperature again.

Woke up, had the best hangovers and feelin' fly!!! Like a G6!!!

2 big bottle of water wasn't enough, was so thirsty after waking up. Need water so bad.

Jared, the man of the night.

Joelle sleeping.

And I still have time Facebooking on my handphone.

So we checked out by 12 p.m, then drove all the way to Kuala Selangor to have our lunch. Seafood lunch, c'mon don't tell me travel all the way to Kuala Selangor and not having seafood at all?!

Zhou's GPS battery died halfway, and we overshoot Kuala Selangor by a few kilometers. Stopped by at Petronas to get some refreshments and managed to asked one of the pump attendants for directions.

1 p.m managed to find the restaurant, nearby a Buddhist temple.
Jared again...feeling blur.

The view from our table was good.

Its the first time in my life, I tasted lala. Like seriously, I wasn't a fan of seafood but after this trip....OH YEAHH!!!

Altogether the bill was cheap. Surprised that the vege cost more than the seafood dishes.

After taking pictures at the temple, went back to KL =D
