River Of Christ's Children's Church Camp (part 2)

DAY 2 (Part 1)

Geee.......was very tired for the second day. Couldn't sleep on Saturday morning, cuz' the room temperature was chilling. Its like....you're a chicken meat stored inside a freezer.

I'm blurrrr.....

First task for the helpers is to fill up all the water balloons. 150 of them. I had a hard time filling the balloons, because sometimes its just like a ticking bomb. Out of the sudden....splash!!! Finally, one of the helpers taught me how to tie a balloon.

While we were filling up balloons.....and being 'bombed' by them....the kids were working on their art crafts............time to be creative!!!

Mum came to church on the second day of the camp. Gave her my dirty clothes.

"Nah Mariah, ambil ini, balik lu cuci sampai bersih, faham tak?"

Mum got annoyed.

Like one whole day of work wasn't tiring already. All the helpers were relaxing in the nursery room. Whoot!!!! Finally.......get to have some precious 30 minutes of rest.

What a mess.........Imagine Angelina Jolie having all of the kids as her children.

Then......the next activity was preparing a presentation. Each group has to act out a certain story from the Bible.

While the kids were thinking how to perform it....Adrian on the other hand, slept like a dead person.

After countless of beatings from Grace and Michelle on the back and shoulder.....Adrian is still 'dead'...

Treasure hunt..........everyone was very excited about. But they don't know what's the first challenge to obtain the first clue.....

Guess what is it??

MAKAN VEGE!!!

Main course for the day.....

I don't know what the hack is that sauce...I heard is fish-related....
Looks disgusting...

Adrian tried the broccolis....he thought it was cooked, it isn't. He nearly vomited.

Lime......and bitter gourd.

I thought that was green pepper, just like the ones I saw at Wongkok Cafe while I was eating their black pepper udon mee.

My team, the orange team, won the treasure hunt game. Then....the next activity might sound silly, but it was super duper creative and funny too. The most important thing is, everyone enjoyed.

Look closely in the picture.....see that yellow ball-shaped object? Its actually a lemon. The game is like this, the person on the other side starts first, he/she has to push the lemon with a plastic spoon to the other side, and the other side person will do the same thing too. Team Orange......got 3rd placed instead. Dang didly dum, we were a few milliseconds to get second place.

Third activity....I don't know what is it called, but it's a simple game. The kids have to run to their team leaders (teacher), the team leaders have to soak a shirt into the bucket of water, put over the children. Then, the children have to run to their team, put it on another team mate, and then run to their team leaders respectively, have the shirt that their wearing soaked into water again. Repeat the same steps over and over again until the final person.

Still don't understand....fine, here's a picture to show how it is done.

Team Orange....got last. But what the hack, losing is also winning mah.

Hmmm.......guess what's the next main activity of the day is?? C'mon, don't be stupid......

WATER BALLOON LAH!!!! HAI-YO!!!

Meet my cute little balloon.....her name is Kerrie. She's pink, round, bubbly, cute, squishy, and....
SHE'S A TICKING WATER BOMB!!!!

I don't know what the hack is Adrian doing.......I was so LOL.

A little trivia for you all....I was the only Chinese youth during the 3 days 2 nights of the camp.
