Timbaland's New Album

2007 was the year of Timbaland. Every single artist's song you hear on the radio, it has the Timbaland midas touch.

Then Timbaland releases his own studio album, titled "Timbaland Presents : Shock Value". Boy oh boy, with collaborations with The Hives, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Dr. Dre, and even Fall Out Boy, and also introducing OneRepublic to us. Right, it was a album that gave us a surprise package. Who knew Timbaland would wanna work with rock stars too?

I was happy when there is a second Timbaland album coming out. I wikipedia-ed it, and the list of collaborators whom Timbaland would work with are Linkin Park, Akon, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Ashley Tinsdale, and even everyone's favourite IT band, Jonas Brothers.

I thought maybe Youtube.com has some leaked songs on Timbaland's new album, and the first one came out was "Say', featuring T-Pain.

I heard it, liked it but I'm annoyed that more and more artist are using the Auto Tune gadget.

Auto Tune:
Auto-Tune is a proprietary audio processor created by Antares Audio Technologies that uses a phase vocoder to correct pitch in vocal and instrumental performances. It is used to disguise inaccuracies and mistakes, and has allowed many artists to produce more precisely tuned recordings. (Wikipedia.com)

Yeah, it all started with Cher's hit, "Believe". Then T-Pain used it for his entire album, then Chris Brown, Akon, Lil' Wayne (yes, that crack head uses it. Listen to Lolipop), Akon and even Kanye West. Now, Timbaland uses it on that "Say" track.

Auto Tune should be banned.

Ok, at the end of the day, I'm really excited about Timbaland's latest upcoming album, Timbaland Presents : Shock Value 2. Will buy it for sure!!!
